Disclaimer: I've searched for the topic, but I was unable to find it. Please nudge me in the correct direction if such topic exists.
Hi, I'm using KDE for a very long time (since 3.x) and love it over other DEs because of its integrated nature, speed and features, however something about konsole started to bug me more and more... I'm a developer and system administrator, so I live in Konsole basically and need to read or write long lines a lot. When a long line wraps, I automatically resize the console with an habit, however unlike other terminal applications I use frequently (XFCE's terminal, GNOME terminal, Apple terminal), the wrapped lines are not dynamically resized, and I either need to re-cat or re-print the log so I can see things in one line. Am I missing a setting somewhere? Or this feature needs to be developed for Konsole? I'm proficient in C/C++ and I can write the required patches if required, so any help, in fact any conversation will be welcome about this topic, because it started to bother me more and more lately. Thanks in advance, Best regards, Hakan |

This is an old post, but still actual.
I just wanted to link to a corresponding feature request in bug tracker: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=196998 |
