ctrl +q won't work

Mon Jan 08, 2018 7:53 pm
Hi,
after using "ctrl+S" the terminal is stopped and a panel open with the hint that "ctrl+q" will continue the session.

Only "ctrl+q" has no effect, and clicking the button will only result in a freeze of the tab.

Is this a bug or configuration issue? I think to remember that this used to work?

I am using Konsole
Version 17.12.0

cheers,

And why is in KDE Konsole the flow control with Ctrl+s and Ctrl+q turned on by default?

I don't know why and could not find why Ctrl-q does not work, but Ctrl-Alt-q works.

In the Konsole settings, edit the current Profile and check which Key Bindings you use, there are several options.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
