How to revert the highlight color to previous behavior?
Highlight with mouse was reverse color, now regardless the color, highlight color is a dark grey.

I didn't manage to solve the problem, but in the meantime I reverted the version:

sudo apt-get install konsole=4:20.12.3-0xneon+20.04+focal+build14 konsole-kpart=4:20.12.3-0xneon+20.04+focal+build14

Then I asked apt to hold that version and prevent the konsole to update:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-mark hold konsole

I'm experiencing the same issue on Gentoo just having updated to Konsole 21.04.0. It looks like devs recognize this color is difficult to see and there is a bug fix in 21.04.1 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435309
