How to install konsole version = 19.12.3 on Ubuntu 18.04?
I've tried via apt-get install konsole, but it was some old version (17.12.3 from 2017) |

HI!
Kubuntu 18.04 is EOL since 04/2020 so you have to install a supported version. As 20.04 lacks of Qt (ships with EOL Qt5.12) use 21.10 or 22.04. |

Is there any "workaround" to install version >19.12.13 on Unbuntu 18.04 ? |

Actually, Ubuntu 18.04 doesn't reach EOL until April 2023. Kubuntu 18.04 became EOL last year. So the Ubuntu OS has 5 years, but the Plasma desktop has three. Clear as mud
While there used to be no workaround to install a much newer version of something Konsole on fairly old *buntu releases, mainly due the core desktop libraries are too old (Qt at least), there are other packaging systems available. Using Flatpak will definitely provide a new version Konsole, but it will, be the latest version, currently 21.12.3 https://flatpak.org/setup/Ubuntu (see instructions specifically for 18.04 and older) then https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Flatpak I have no idea if your app store in Bionic supports Flatpak, so you probably need to search and install it from the command line
to find the ID then

Better than this: Only the repositories main and restricted are supported for 5 years. That doesn't match any desktop installation in reality as a lot of software is in the unsupported universe repo where the most used software is hosted. So yes, clear as mud with a minor light source |
