Not long time ago, i have modified the Konsole profile via GUI resulting in multiple profiles and since then i have to waste time selecting the profile each time i want to open new tab from "File" menu.
(Ctrl+Shift+T is ok though - no prompt) I am not using latest version, just stable one on Debian 11. Settings / Manage Profiles shows now single profile and does not allow me to delete it as per the screenshot, even the "Settings / Switch Profile" shows two profiles (Default and default). Found files: ./.config/session/konsole_* ./.config/konsolerc ./.local/share/konsole/default.profile ./.local/share/kxmlgui5/konsole/attica WORKAROUND to this bug: move away/remove file/s ./.local/share/konsole/*.profile It will no longer prompt on new tab and single profile only. But when You edit setting of that only profile, it will create secondary (GUI non-removable!) profile1 without asking and start again asking on new tab open which profile to choose Anyone can reproduce this bug?

I have a new installation of KDE Neon.
no /.config/session/konsole_*, no ./.local/share/konsole/default.profile files. Mi ./.config/konsolerc:
Apparently, ./.local/share/kxmlgui5/konsole/attica is related to Kdenlive |

I was trying to append
(which is what was in newly created profile file after my HistorySize modification in konsole GUI settings) to: nano $HOME/.config/session/konsole_* nano $HOME/.config/konsolerc and quit/start konsole, check its GUI settings, but change in HistorySize (7000) was not reflected. I do not know what to do to increase scrollback/HistorySize without creating additional profiles ?

Hi @abc72656
Let's rewind a little bit.
Plasma version? QT version? Are you running Wayland? You can run kinfocenter on the terminal, then click on Copy to clipboard and paste it here. |
