As said - can't get Japanese or Chinese (See below for exact 'break point') to show in Konsole.

Font used is "Droid Sans Mono" - but other fonts behave the same.

For example - "echo -e '\u3060'" should get me "だ" but I'm getting "[]" (an empty box, not really [+]). If I copy that empty box form Konsole to Firefox - I'm getting the correct character - だ, which means the problem is only with the presentation of the character. Using VSCodium with the same font shows the correct character.

Playing around a bit, I've found out the "0x28FF" (the last of the Braille) shows correctly, but the next one - "0x2E80" (the first of the CJK Radicals Supplement) is the dreaded empty box.

- Plasma 5.26.5
- Konsole 22.12.2
- Archlinux

Any ideas?

Thanks
Ben
