How do I configure Konsole to always open in Split-screen?

Liking Konsole as my, new, default terminal.

Would like it to open in Split-screen but cannot see how to do so.

I had managed to get this working... I thought I had posted a message with how I did it so others could benefit; however, the message doesn't seem to have made it
