When a link is printed in the terminal I can click to open it. However, if the link is followed by ', than it is included in the url.

$ echo "'https://finance.yahoo.com/news/zacks-com-featured-highlights-sweetgreen-090009099.html',"
'https://finance.yahoo.com/news/zacks-com-featured-highlights-sweetgreen-090009099.html',

When clicking ctrl+left mose button Konsole opens https://finance.yahoo.com/news/zacks-co ... 9099.html', including the ', on the end.

What can I do to exclude those characters on url selection?

A possibility on the quick: Copy the URL with a trailing comma (double-click left mouse button) and paste the URL in a free space (third mouse button). This makes it editable and the comma can be removed with the backspace key.
