Hi,
I am trying to write a script that is going to: 1) start a new konsole 2) create a few tabs with specific names and colors There are options for the "konsole" command: --workdir Change working directory to 'dir' -T Set the window title --caption Use 'caption' as name in the titlebar --btn, --button sets the default button color But I could not figure out how to pull this together. How can I create tabs with predefined colors? May be I need create a separet profile file with all the "colour, font, name" settings and run this each time? Any ideas? Many Thanks!

Ok. I saved the current profile. A profile that I have manually made. Just a couple of tabs with names and colors and the path as a specific folder. Then I examined the file. It has all the lines required to set up the konsole from sratch. The probelm is when i load the profile with the "konsole --profile MY_PROFILE" it starts a brand new konsole with all the tabs.
Is there a way of dynamically adding the new tabs to the current session? Thanks. |

At this time the Konsole DBus interface does not support adding Tabs dynamically, apart from through the interface.

probably page management ( add, remove ) methods, with each page having all the options available, similar to how the profile page is now.
