Hi,

I installed the Linux Libertine font set, however these fonts are not available for use in Konsole. I read a bug report that in KDE 3.5 fonts that were specified as fixed width were the only fonts available, however I am running KDE 4.2.3.

[ormandj@desktop1 ~]$ konsole --version
Qt: 4.5.1
KDE: 4.2.3 (KDE 4.2.3)
Konsole: 2.2.3
[ormandj@desktop1 ~]$

The fonts are visible from within the KDE control panel font selection option, just not in Konsole's font selector. If somebody has information concerning this, I would very much appreciate it. I didn't see any relevant bug reports other than the KDE 3.5 report, but I didn't want to file without asking here first.

Thanks,
David

It is quite likely that only "Console" fonts can be used. Any font that is compatible with Bash should be listed, unfortunately I don't know what it requires, nor how it does the setting.

That's probably still the case. What's the status of the bug report?

Resolved/Fixed, as stated in last comment, in KDE4. Unfortunately, it does not seem to be so. I'm open to any other suggestions/input, before I file another report.

Thank you,
David
