The configuration file of Konsole is
~/.kde4/share/config/konsolerc The files to specify the profiles are in ~/.kde4/share/apps/konsole If ~/.kde4 doesn't work for you replace it with the output of kde4-config --localprefix |

Have you tried the Settings menu, to edit the current profile? You'll probably find the schema is set to Linux Colors. Try changing it to White on Black.

Simplest way:
1. Put terminal on your desktop or in bottom bar near "Start" button. 2. Hold "CTRL+S" and keep clicking on terminal very fast. 3. When you see terminals don't disappear anymore, stop clicking 4. Leave one stopped terminal and close all others. 5. Go to your default profile in terminal and change settings to your default I saved my terminal using this way )) This problem especially happens if you write your own initial command such as echo "hi!" |

I finally figured it out, but I thought I would come back and leave a reply because of how many times this thread appeared in my search results while trying to solve the problem. Now, I am running Kubuntu 17.04 with KDE Plasma version 5.9.4, so this may not be the same for everyone. The actual konsolerc file was located in
Hopefully this helps someone else in the future, thanks |
