Not entirely sure this is the right place for this question, but for the life of me I can't find an answer via google or this forum.
I recently upgraded to Ubuntu 9.1 + KDE and the new Konsole is behaving differently with respect to what the manual refers to as "text-stream mode" (ie, holding down the Ctrl key while selecting text). In the older version (honestly I'm not sure anymore what version it was) when doing this, the contents of the clipboard would be space separated when copying from multiple lines of input. Now however all of the data is smashed together without any kind of delimiter. The problem is that I used the feature quite often to copy/paste command line options (such as file names). But without the spaces, it just turns into one big jumbled mess. Is there anyway to add the space separation back when copying multiple lines via the Ctrl+select copying in Konsole? Thanks in advance, Tim |

After a few days of waiting for a response I wasn't hopeful there'd be an immediate answer. I just searched over at bugs.kde.org and found #136730 which basically is asking for the same feature that I described.
Thanks, Tim |
