Hello,

I'm using konsole 2.3.3 (KDE 4.5.3) and I'm wondering if it is possible to display different strings in the window title bar and in the tab title bar.

Example:
Tab title: Hostname: Username (%h: %u)
Window title: Title set by shell (%w)

Is this possible? I didn't find anything in the settings or searching the web.

Thanks in advance!

for tab title in settings -> configure profiles -> shell|root shell|whatever -> tabs -> tab titles -> tab title format -> insert

Hi google01103,

Yes - that sets the tab title. But unfortunately in this case the window title is equal to the tab title (when the tab is active).

it appears that the window title bar can't be set, you can post a brainstorm suggestion brainstorm.php#cat83
