Not sure what you are seeking to achieve; Edit>New Tab creates a new session in the window you already have open.

:) seeking to be lazy...

in my work i regularly have to process a bunch of logs...so i end up doing this

1. run konsole
2. in that konsole, run command1 to generate a bunch of files
3. open file1
4. open new tab
5. open file2
...

i would like to script this so i can spend more time in the data and less time in the menus.

Also i run these commands multiple times on different hosts - so i would like the files grouped together based on the host. What happens when i run the qdbus command i have listed above, is that all the tabs go to one window - which doesnt help :(
