I cannot input the symbol ' ^ ' within konsole via keyboard

Has anybody an idea what could be the reason for that? I already tried switching locale and keyboad layouts, but nothing helped.

Have you tried changing the Konsole keyboard layout? Konsole > Settings > Configure Current Profile > Input.

yes, this I already tried.

But my problem solved after some kubuntu backport kde updates.
