How to add a calendar?

I open the app, it's empty! There are no active calendars! Opt - add, choose Calendar /home/*****/.kde/share/apps/kalarm nothing happens. What should I do tell me please?

What version of KAlarm are you using? What desktop are you running on? Are any error messages displayed?

Can you try running akonadiconsole (you might need to install the 'akonadiconsole' package first). Does it display any error message when it starts?
