Please help me find the part of the KAlarm handbook that tells how to create a alarm that recurs at login - not just once , but continues to do so.

Do not need info about actually starting KAlarm at login - that info is easily found. Only the info about creating the actual alarm.

sounds like you want the "any time" option for Time in the Alarm tab and "At Login" for the Recurrence Rule in the Recurrence tab

The location in the handbook where this is described is the Recurrence section of the Alarm Edit Dialog chapter.
