I'm using Version 2.11.4-Sak on Mint 18.3.
When Kalarm starts I get a popup window: Time zones are not accessible: Kalarm will use the UTC time zone. (The KDE time zone service is not available: check that ktimezoned is installed.) My clock widget and time in the lower right corner are correct to my time zone. It would be really fine for Kalarm and gnome-calendar to use my time zone (western US) instead of UTC. Can anyone shed light on my problem? Thank you, Steve |

This has been fixed in KDE Applications 18.08, which will be released next month. I don't know when that version will be available in Mint.
