Is it intended behaviour that if I have the KDE Telepathy status plasmoid in system tray and I have logged in to the IM accounts that if I close the Contact lists window Telepathy logs out of all the accounts? I have KDE Telepathy compiled from git today but it has bahaved the same last time I compiled it a few weeks back.

No, that should not happen. Unless you started the contact list without the presence applet, quit it and chose "Go Offline" and "Don't ask me again" option. In that case that would happen everytime. Can you please post the content of ~/.kde/share/config/ktp-contactlistrc? Just open up Konsole and put this in:

Code: Select all
$ cat ~/.kde/share/config/ktp-contactlistrc

and post the output here, thanks.

Thanks. It was this line in the config file:

Code: Select all
[General]
go_offline_when_closing=true

http://paste.kde.org/476606/

It would be nice though if there was an option in the GUI for changing this.

Indeed, we'll see what we can do. Thanks for the report! :)
