I am not able to edit or remove accounts. Also, accounts that originally worked are now stuck in "connecting" state. The only one that appears online is "local-xmpp".

Moreover, I just noted that my kdewallet appears completly empty and unusable. Don't know if it is related, though.

That was the problem. I had to logout/login two times to get kwallet run again. Sorry for the pointless post.
