Hi,

Recently switched from Pigin to Telepathy after I found a blog about it's integration with KRunner and so on. It's great!

But is there a way to suppress the contact status messages appearing in the message window?

%sender% ‣ kjadav@squiz.net is Away - Away 16:31:37
%sender% ‣ kjadav@squiz.net has left the chat 16:31:42
%sender% ‣ jloh has left the chat 16:45:28
%sender% ‣ Andrew Ong is Away - Away 16:51:40
%sender% ‣ Andrew Ong is Available 16:54:25
%sender% ‣ dbelcher is Away - Away 16:54:41
%sender% ‣ dbelcher is Available 16:54:56
%sender% ‣ mwalker has left the chat 17:04:12
%sender% ‣ mgough has left the chat 17:05:03

and so on, and so on...

Over the course of a day our group chat has a lot of connects/disconnects and the chat fills with the noise of people entering and leaving the room, to the point that it's hard to find actual chat messages :)

Pigin could turn these off, so I'm guessing I'm just missing where the setting might be for Telepathy?

Thanks for your help,
Mike

In the text UI:
Click settings -> Configure -> then check "Show status changes"

Also which blog post?
