empty contact-list with local-xmpp

Tue Feb 04, 2014 2:36 am
Sorry to repost this, but I'm going to have a headache trying to have local-xmpp working.

local-xmpp account doesn't list anyone in the contact list, although I can still be conctacted by the remote party.
I am running kubuntu 13.10 with ktp daily-builds ppa (ktp 0.99). I also tried with a former release (0.7.1) without luck.

I followed instructions on http://community.kde.org/KTp/Troubleshooting but this is what I get:

nepomuktelepathyservice doesn't seem to work neither with ktp 0.99 (doesn't seem to be included in this release, though), nor with ktp 0.7.1:
Code: Select all
$ qdbus org.kde.NepomukServer /servicemanager org.kde.nepomuk.ServiceManager.stopService nepomuktelepathyservice

I get "false" as response.

Code: Select all
$ nepomukservicestub nepomuktelepathyservice
unknown service name

So, before I go any further:
Does local-xmpp supposed to be in a working state?
If yes, might the packages be broken in regards to local-xmpp support?
I'm asking this because I didn't seen any bug reports regarding local-xmpp so far.
