Hi,
currently ktp-log-viewer shows messages which have been sent encrypted with the OTR plugin as "Encrypted message" (which is better than showing the raw source, of course ![]() For now I'm still using kopete that enables me storing the unencrypted message (which is fine, as OTR is just needed to secure the connection between colleagues, as GPG isn't widely available; locally everything is encrypted with dm_crypt). Will this be available in ktp-log-viewer in the future? Can it even be made possible (perhaps the logs are tapped "underneath" the OTR layer in the telepathy stack?)? |

bumping this as my google fu has failed me in finding a way to decrypt the OTR messages that are stored in log.
This is over a year old so let me know if i should make a new post. I have the same needs a OP. I dont mind having them encrypted but i would like to be able to decrypt them to view past messages. I have KGpg installed and the following Arch Linux packages installed: telepathy-accounts-signon 1.0-1 telepathy-farstream 0.6.2-2 telepathy-glib 0.24.1-1 telepathy-haze 0.8.0-1 telepathy-kde-accounts-kcm 16.04.0-1 telepathy-kde-approver 16.04.0-1 telepathy-kde-auth-handler 16.04.0-1 telepathy-kde-call-ui 16.04.0-1 telepathy-kde-common-internals 16.04.0-2 telepathy-kde-contact-list 16.04.0-2 telepathy-kde-contact-runner 16.04.0-1 telepathy-kde-desktop-applets 16.04.0-1 telepathy-kde-filetransfer-handler 16.04.0-1 telepathy-kde-integration-module 16.04.0-1 telepathy-kde-meta 16.04-1 telepathy-kde-send-file 16.04.0-2 telepathy-kde-text-ui 16.04.0-1 telepathy-logger 0.8.2-2 telepathy-logger-qt 15.04.0-2 telepathy-mission-control 5.16.3-2 telepathy-qt5 0.9.6.1-2 Thanks! |
