I'm trying to get SIP support back into KDE-Telepathy, but its slow going.
Commit 1e1ff29 of ktp-call-ui should build and run with KDE-Telepathy 15.08.x. However currently the kaccounts based account creation doesn't support creating SIP accounts, and the version of the telepathy sip plugin rakia in Debian has problems with TLS validation. I built an experimental Debian package which contains instructions for manually configuring SIP in the README.Debian If you can get it installed and configured, one on one SIP connections usually work. Sometimes one of the streams fails to be created, so far putting the call on hold and then resuming it causes the streams to be recreated. Diane |

Thank you! Its very good job but for me need more than 1 connections... I hope developers add full support SIP protocols in future version. |

Just showing interest to this theme =)
I would like to follow philosophy of Telepathy having all in one, without need of having extra messaging programs, like Sflphone and so on.
My OS: KDE Neon, "Out of the box ", with regular updates.

It would be really nice to see this working, it's the main reason I'm interested in KDE Telepathy.

I would also love to see SIP back in telepathy.
It is possible to add accounts as described here. https://together.jolla.com/question/415 ... tegration/ If I do that I see that the phone is registered, but don't get any notifications when I call it. |
