I download from http://www.devhdr.nl/rpm/RPMS/ktorrent- ... k.i586.rpm,
it show up an error message when run ktorrent:

ktorrent: symbol lookup error: ktorrent: undefined symbol: _ZN11KSystemTray9setPixmapERK7QPixmap
ERROR: Communication problem with ktorrent, it probably crashed.

Any idea?

PS: Mandriva LE 2005 (10.2)

I'll contact Hans de Raad, see what he has to say.

In the mean time, have you tried compiling it from source ?

Which KDE version?

Could you tell me which KDE version you are using?
The package was compiled against 3.4, instead of the default LE 2005 3.3 version.

Mdv LE 2006 will encorporate 3.4 as default and will be released within the next 2 weeks, btw.

Looking through the KDE api reference, KSystemTray::setPixmap (the symbol it can't find) isn't present in 3.3 but is present in 3.4.

It should however compile on 3.3, seeing that KSystemTray::setPixmap is overridden from QLabel::setPixmap.

I'll try to get my hands on a 3.3 installation, probably somewhere next week.
If it compiles right then i'll upload a new rpm.

I uninstall all about kde packages and then reinstall,
compile 1.1rc1 source rpm is ok!

But I got a problem when add a torrent, ktorrent seems
crash, and cause the CPU loading 100%!

And sometime ktorrent won't download(wait about one hour),
however it start to download when switch to Azureus,
only wait a few miniutes.

It means: Can you attach .torrent file you are talking about, here on forum or send it to us via email?

Also, include some more info on your system (CPU, RAM etc...)

I don't think it is the problem of .torrents,
it almost can download when switch to Azureus
or BitComet within VMware(windows 2k) if ktorrent won't.

PS:
Main board: MSI KT6V-LSR
CPU: AMD Sempron 2200+
RAM: DDR-400 512MB * 2
HD: WD 40G + Hitache 160G

About 1/3 ~ 1/2 torrents.

I have tried BitTorrent/BitTornado/cTorrent/rTorrent/QtTorrent,
these torrent client won't download generally,
azureus is better and BitComet(for Windows) is the best for downloading!

I just useing Windows for downloading torrent... :)
