This is just a file URL, if you open this with konquerer it should go to the directory.

Anyway, do you have the necessary permissions to delete /home/tom/.kde3.3/share/apps/ktorrent/tor0/ ?

I agree when I past this link into konqueror it strips the extra slashes. If I try this with a non-existent dir, it give me an error with only one slash. I don't know if this is a good test or not, because I don't know exactly through what library etc that ktorrent tries to delete the file.

The funny thing is this dir is in my home dir, ktorrent is running as me, and ktorrent itself created this dir when it started the torrent.

I've deleted the actual dir in preparation for a new svn version, but here is the parent ~/.kde3.3/share/apps/ktorrent.

The permissions are good (only you have rwx access to it).

Open a torrent and see what the permissions of the tor0 dir are.

Open torrent. Right click and remove torrent. Information Ktorrent dialog box with:
Could not delete file file:///home/tom/.kde3.3/share/apps/ktorrent/tor1/.

Just noticed that a delete file progress dialog pops up with:

OK try the latest svn version.
