I've recently downloaded and compiled ktorrent from svn and have encountered these bugs:

Ktorrent does not minimize to systray (simply exits)
Ktorrent does not include several icons - I mean Start, stop, startall etc.

On the other hand thanks for speed improvements.

systray : make sure system tray icon is shown
icons : get the 1.1 release, there is a problem in the current svn which causes the icons to get installed at the wrong place

Icons bug is really fixed. I will further continue in the Ktorrent 1.1 Announcement thread.

Ktorrent 1.1 terminates instead of minimizing into tray. It is not an icon problem, ps -e | grep ktorrent proves that the application has been terminated.

I am using Fedora Core 4.

KTorrent 1.1 doesn't use system tray icon by default. You should enable it in Configuration dialog. Try that and let us know what happened.
