This torrent here:
http://www.demonoid.com/torrents/details/227849/

When I select it in the ktorrent window while InfoWidget plugin is active, it causes ktorrent to freeze, forcing me to kill it. If InfoWidget is unloaded, selecting it is safe. There is nothing special in the debug log at the time of freezing. I can send the torrent if you don't have access to demonoid.

Wasn't this a super clear bug report?:)
Thank you so much for the new year's memory fix.

By freeze, you mean that the window doesn't respond anymore but it keeps running and the GUI keeps updating ? Or do you mean a real freeze, where if you minimize the window and then maximize it the window does not get properly redrawn ?

Symptoms:
The window is there but GUI stops being redrawn. If you minimize and back, all the text and graphics are gone, its all gray boxes. Or moving other windows over the ktorrent window erases the text and graphics in the ktorrent window. Which happens when the thread that's supposed to draw the GUI stopped somehow.

Also, in --debug mode, the output stops. Also, I check the sizes of files of downloads that had a positive download speed and they don't increase. Before freezing they increase.

Basically, everything freezes.

Ah, so KT gets stuck in an infite loop.

I will take a look and see if I can reproduce it.

OK, thanks to Ivan I now have an account on demonoid again, gonna test it right now, allthough I do not suspect it is torrent specific.

It is torrent specific, this torrent has a file of 0 bytes in it, which was causing havoc, because we were not checking for that. But it is fixed now..
