Torrents seem to stall

Thu Jan 12, 2006 8:07 am
Im finding with ver 1.2rc1 torrents seem to stall and if I stop the download then restart it again everything is normal.

I noticed azureus resets the download on a regular basis especially if it has stalled for too long, this I found keeps things working.

Be nice if kt had a auto restart on stall timeout option.

Gets to be a bit of a pain restarting stalled downloads every now and again.

Does it actually restart the download ? Or does it just send a new request to the tracker for some more peers ?

Downloads stall

Fri Jan 20, 2006 10:45 am
What it seems to do is restart then it shows a change in the peers numbers, when I stop and start the download when it stalls for too long.

Then the download works again for a while.

Seems to be torrent specific after more use ie not all torrent show this problem, but the auto reset on stall timeout would be nice still.

Anyway Im updating to 1.2rc2 as we speak see how it goes.
