hehe dont worry. i know they wont make it into the next version, but i hope you consider them, if you find them usefull that is :)
    * It should be possible to remove torrents from the queue, w/out erasing the files from the HD
    * Manualy add more trackers to already downloading torrents
    * Detect network disconects. I noticed that if i get a disconect and the modem redials, the torrents just stand there stalled... if i stop/start them they resume their downloads/uploads

It is already possible to choose weather you want temporary files to be deleted or not. Or maybe you think about 'torX' directories?

I agree with this. In addition we could make an option to change tracker if torrent has more than one defined. Could be added to TODO if everyone agrees.

If my memory serves me, I think that this bug/wish report already exists. But, George added a small change recently that will detect 'stalled' status and force a tracker request if it stays like that for some time. This doesn't solve your problem?

i mean when you donload a file and start seeding it. u realize there are no peers that want it, so you want to take it out of the queue. when i do this, it deletes the file from my HD. not the temp files... the real files!

I agree. This is one feature I would quite like to see as some of the torrents I download use multiple trackers, some of which never seem to work. So, if you're unlucky, you keep trying to connect to that one tracker, even though it's not working and have no way of selecting a different one for that torrent.

We need to make this more clear. Right now, if you remove an incomplete torrent from the list, it asks you if you want to remove the partial files or not. You can say no and import them later, it works. When the torrent is completed, removing the torrent from the list does not remove the files ever, so my conclusion is that you are using an old version.

You know, you can just stop a torrent, no need to remove, stop it and the queue manager will leave it alone.

We will make the trackers editable, so you can remove trackers which do not respond, and you can add other trackers.

True... but eventualy i would have hundreds of torrents that should not be there, making it harder to spot the progress on those i'm realy interested in (think lots of small files, like mp3 albums or such)

Could this not be achieved by a feature like only show active torrents/not show stopped ones? You basically want the torrents intact, but not showing in the listview, right?

A feature I just realized I could like, is a way to get more information about the files. Like the way Konqueror does, if you hoover the mouse over a file for some time you get a nice yellow pop-up with information. The amount of information depends on filetype and available ioslaves I guess, some also gives metainfo like length, codec, resolution, bitrate etc.

Indeed, we could add a simple check option to the right click menu of the view.

Most of the information of a torrent is allready shown in the GUI. So it would be a bit redundant.

I guess my explanation was not good, I'll try to be clearer. I was not thinking about the torrents, but the individual files in the torrent. Having this functionality in the infowidget's files tab, making hoover give you the information from the ogg, mp3. avi, jpeg etc files. The same way you Konqueror will do if you go to the directory containing those files.

I see, would be nice, but I don't think it is really necessary.
