can there be a progress bar for the torrent and the chunks, like in azureus, or maybe a progress bar that stays open when ktorrent minimises to the system tray? it would be greatly appreciated

You should load the infowidget plugin. You can do this in the settings dialog.

I think schild420 meant something like new tab with video player for temp files. I think I saw something like this in KMLDonkey client. If I remember right, they use KParts for loading Kaffeine/Xine and playing temp files.

yeah, something more like what ivan said. btw, when i go to settings, i get, 'toolbars', 'hide statusbar', and 'configure toolbars, shortcuts, ktorrent'. when i click on configure ktorrent, there is nothing that says anything about plugins.

Which version are you running?

im using 1.1, but my there are no upgrades displayed by my package manager

1.1 hasn't got the plugins, you will have to upgrade to 1.2rc2
