I noticed it yesterday: with the SVN version (I donwloaded it a week ago) the tracker I use doesn't recognize KTorrent anymore.
It's strange for it used to recognize KT successfully since 1.2rc1 (as 'ktorrent')... Tip: you should add the version to the peer string (something as 'kTorrent 1.2rc2' or simply 'kTorrent 1.2 (beta)'). |

Maybe the tracker where you're on started to work with a whitelist for user-agents.
You might wanna ask them first because more and more trackers are blocking clients they don't like (which is a good thing IMO). If they're doing this, ktorrent might just still be on the waitinglist to be put on the whitelist. So tell them ktorrent is a proper client yada yada yada and so on... |

I didn't make myself clear... I'm able to work with KT and this tracker but it doesn't recognize KT's PeerID. As I thought it was a problem about a different PeerID in the SVN version which doesn't seem to be recognized by the tracker.
I'll contact the tracker's devs and I'll ask them to put the SVN PeerID in the whitelist... |
