Importing a 98% finished download to a destination folder parent to the folder where the data is in.
I know the pointed destination might be wrong so that's not the point. But when i enable ktorrent to download the excluded file after the import procedure (set by importing wizard), ktorrent crashes. This also might not be a bug but just not taken care of since the introduction of 'exclude files the import doesn't find'. I dunno really, but i think it worth mentioning, Importing warnings: (which might be just ok)
No traceback found though. |

Yeah
The structure is in this format: (in /media/sda3/ ) When i point to the desination folder(where it should be) /media/sda3/ KTorrent checks torrent and auto exclude the file it can' t find: (and when i check the files then, KTorrent crashes) When i point to the destination folder(inside the torrent data-folder, where it NOT should be if i' am correct) /media/sda3/Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind/ Everything works fine. |

If it can't find the files, you wanted them excluded. (or was that somebody else ?) If it is a single file torrent, you have to select the file in question, if it is a multifile torrent, you have to select the directory where all the files are in. That's pretty logical isn't it ? |

(No that was somebody else But i think it' s a good rule though.)
That is logical yes. But what is going wrong now in the last picture, is that all files are already downloaded but KTorrent thinks otherwise. (took me a while to actually say this...(?) ) It' s also strange to me that KTorrent does work correct when i give up a wrong folder (/media/sda3/Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind/ ) |

It isn' t in bittornado for instance.
Pointing to "/media/sda3/Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind/" Would make "/media/sda3/Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind/Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind/" because the torrent already has a folder itself and was started in /media/sda3/ Funny how clients can think different. |
