Importing a 98% finished download to a destination folder parent to the folder where the data is in.
I know the pointed destination might be wrong so that's not the point. But when i enable ktorrent to download the excluded file after the import procedure (set by importing wizard), ktorrent crashes. This also might not be a bug but just not taken care of since the introduction of 'exclude files the import doesn't find'. I dunno really, but i think it worth mentioning, Importing warnings: (which might be just ok)
No traceback found though. |

Yeah
The structure is in this format: (in /media/sda3/ )
When i point to the desination folder(where it should be) /media/sda3/ KTorrent checks torrent and auto exclude the file it can' t find:
(and when i check the files then, KTorrent crashes) When i point to the destination folder(inside the torrent data-folder, where it NOT should be if i' am correct) /media/sda3/Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind/ Everything works fine. |

If it can't find the files, you wanted them excluded. (or was that somebody else ?) If it is a single file torrent, you have to select the file in question, if it is a multifile torrent, you have to select the directory where all the files are in. That's pretty logical isn't it ? |

(No that was somebody else
That is logical yes. But what is going wrong now in the last picture, is that all files are already downloaded but KTorrent thinks otherwise. (took me a while to actually say this...(?) ) It' s also strange to me that KTorrent does work correct when i give up a wrong folder (/media/sda3/Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind/ ) |

It isn' t in bittornado for instance.
Pointing to "/media/sda3/Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind/" Would make "/media/sda3/Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind/Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind/" because the torrent already has a folder itself and was started in /media/sda3/ Funny how clients can think different. |
