Today, I noticed something odd with the upload speed in KT 1.2. It seems as though KT doesn't always register the correct upload speed, but does register the correct upload amount. For example, KT was displaying an upload speed of ~50 kB/s on a torrent, but the amount uploaded was ticking over at more like 200 kB/s and my network monitor was indicating a similar total upload speed.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Running KTorrent 1.2 on Gentoo-ppc btw.

No. If I set an upload limit of say 20 kB/s, my network monitor shows a similar upload speed. As soon as I remove the limit, it's back to a large difference between the two.

I will examine it during the weekend, probably not all bytes get counted for some odd reason.

I think I fixed it, but I still need to test it some more, the code is committed to trunk.
