Once in a while the ratio limit doesn't get remembered on the set i.e. 1.33: when i view another torrent and go back it's 1.00 again.

This happens on a rare case though, stopping and restaring the torrent make no difference in this state. I have to restart KTorrent to make the setting remember itself.

It looks that it does get remembered correct when i set all other torrents from top to bottum in a list with a ratio other than 1.00.

PS. I spotted this bug in the first build when the ratio was introduced too.
PS2. What about a ratio setting option in download tab too? (so that it gets the set u:d ratio on the fly at the time a torrent swaps to the seeding tab)

Pretty stupid question: you are sure that you've pressed 'enter' after entering ratio value?

What about a ratio setting option in download tab too? (so that it gets the set u:d ratio on the fly at the time a torrent swaps to the seeding tab)

George and I talked about that and agreed that it would be bad to use share ratio while downloading (lots of reasons) but it would be nice to set max ratio value for seeding before torrent is completed (that way I don't have to wait for download completion just to set this value). On the other hand, it would probably cause confusion for some less experienced users like: "This feature doesn't work - I've set share ratio to XX.XX but my current ratio is way over the limit.".

Personally, I would add this option. Anybody else care to share some thoughts?

I think this could be OK with proper wording, somethink like "after downloading, seed until ratio is..." (in a help popup if too large for the GUI itself)

Anyway, I support this option !

True, share ratio while downloading isn't used in any client and that's not for nothing. But AFAIK all clients that have a configurable ratio stop in downloading mode already because this is the only way to get it activated directly when a torrent goes from downloading to seeding mode.

About that users might think that it already counts for downloading mode, that is a valid reason i think.
So maybe we can look at a posibility to make a configuration in the options where you can setup the normal ratio you normally want all torrents to stop, and explain in a note besides this setting that you can alter it in seeding mode latter.
This way you have both: a posibility to setup a standard global ratio, and no setting that might confuse a user.(downloading tab ratio)

I fiddled my way around, but can't find a proper pattern. Sometimes the setting gets reset in runtime(after a review tab only), sometimes only when i restart KTorrent.

Try it out now. I made some improvements and I it works good here.
I also added maxShareRatio to downloads tab which will take effect only in seeding mode.
