it happens when i open ktorrent. the infowidget panel has got some non-cleaned font as if they were not anti-aliased or something like that. if i doubble-click 2x on the title bar to wrap and unwrap the window all is normal then.

with svn 515957, i got a crash when i close ktorrent tonight. the fisrt crash ever i got with ktorrent. i got no backtrace cuase i strip executable /o\
the next nothing (no crash) happens

what about an IRC channel for ktorrent ?

I can confirm this behavior and it's pretty annoying. I tried to find out what causes that, but no luck. Maybe George has a thought...

In the meantime, just changing between download/upload panel 'cleans' the font...

Could be the crash Ivan fixed. You should upgrade to latest and see what that gives you.

Yep, I know. But this looks just like we painted the widget twice without clearing it first... Really weird.
I need to mention that the first time I saw this was when I splitted download and upload panels. A guess: Is it possible that QT is trying to paint both download & upload InfoWidgets but since I've missed something it ends up painting the same widget twice?

Could be, I don't know. When we insert the info widgets do we call show on them ?
