here you go. my buddy got it for me as i no longer use azureus. unfortunately it was windows, but it still looks the same reguardless.



i am mainly concerned with the upper portion as it is nice to look at and just to make sure that it is actually blocking ips like it says that it is. kinda makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

You can load the logviewer plugin, if a peer gets banned, it will be printed in the log. Anyway I probably will not have the time to do this, you can try to convince Ivan or find somebody else or do it yourself.

or maybe i can do it myself. i am not too good with programming qt and stuff, but i can try. btw i am a senior in computer science.

It would be nice if you could come up with such a status window!

general feature request:
is there a to-do for customizable columns? (File, Status, Size ... ) Like select which ones are shown and such.
Also, could you implement a tracker column? with the tracker name and maybe bring the status from the details view up into a column?

Is planned, don't know when it's gonna happen, but it will happen at some point.

Let me know if you are interested in implementing this feature, I have some ideas which are rather easy to implement.

i wouldnt mind doing it as long as i am able to. i should say that i am not too good at following others code. what is ktorrent developed in? and would i need to learn qt programming?

ps if i cannot do this (which i feel that there are alot of things that i cannot do programming wise, but i am a fairly good student... object orientation being one of them as i just cannot grasp it) then i will gladly say so so that i do not lead people on.

Just plain C++, Qt isn't difficult to learn, you are gonna need if you want to do GUI stuff.

As a computer science student, shouldn't you be somewhat good a programming ?

well i am good at programming, just not objectively. i recently wrote a perl script to parse my sites wiki and insert that info into a new database. it worked on the first try and had alot of stuff to keep track of. the database design had more errors than my code did. c++ was never one of my strong languages, well it was till they tried to jam objective stuff down my throat then i changed what language i used.
