possible bug in svn from 2006-03-08

Sun Mar 19, 2006 9:32 pm
i am noticing a possible bug. when a torrent finishes it doesnt seed. it doesnt even see the peers even though the tracker reports that they are here. i tested this with azureus and it definately appears that it isnt working right. i can let you guys know the sites via pm or what ever.

also once a torrent completes, if it was highlighted in the transfers pane the stats stay at the bottom in the plugin.

since i couldnt get the image to attach right here is a link to it:

notice how there is no torrent selected but the info remains
if these are fixed in the newest svn then great![/url]

And if you try with the current SVN, I had no problem seeding a torrent yesterday.

What do you mean by 'KT reports no users on torrent'? No users connected or no users on tracker (0(0) seeds and 0(0) leechs)?

Note that we get rid of all the seeders when a download is finished, so when the torrent only has seeders you end up with 0 peers.

What happens when you do a manual announce on the torrent ?

manual announce does nothing for me. it reports no peers and no leechers on the upload tab. i have checked the site since it keeps track of the peers and it there are definately seeds and most have leechers.
if you want a screen shot of ktorrent let me know.

Is it possible that they have disabled your account for some reason?
I know some trackers don't supply a proper error status back for such things.

Can you post your log file (~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent/log), or if it is to big send it by mail or put it online somewhere.
