Hello!
I've just compiled ktorrent from svn and two thing is strange. 1- ktorrent take 20 to 30 % of my CPU. I have a PIV 1800 mhz with 1 gig of ram. Is it normal? 2- I'm not sure but I think there is a problem with my up/down speed. My speed seem to be very unstable. It vary a lot... More, when ktorrent upload to 30 k/s, conky show me a global speed of 60 k/s Some info:
On Archlinux 0.7.1 // kernel 2.6.16-rc5 // gcc 4.0.3 // fvwm desktop Here you can find the log: http://perso.b2b2c.ca/mangaquebec/log Edit: On user screenshot, some people have 3 tab: download tab, search tab and upload tab. How can I have a upload tab ? I dont find it Thank you! @+

You propably don't have a upload tab because you have an older version installed. I dunno how you've managed to install an SVN version of a previous version, but you should wipe it anyway.
- uninstall ktorrent from the folder where you've compiled KTorrent:
- delete the whole compiled folder by going to the parent folder of where ktorrent is compiled(should be a "cd .." from where you are above)
- follow the faq to compile the latest version http://ktorrent.org/index.php?page=faq#q3 Now you should have the latest 1.3dev version and the upload tab. |
