in 516324, Ivan fixed a problem where KT when restarted gave an error window for each torrent above the number of allowed torrents

I just used today the "stop all" and "start all" buttons from the toolbar, and that problem also exists there... (well, there could be a single warning that only X torrents are allowed and only that number will be started)

You're right, apparently I missed that. I'll be working on a fix.

It should be fixed in trunk. Grab the latest SVN.

thanks, Ivan, 522599 compiled like a charm and problem is fixed

EDIT: if that can help in tracking that problem, I now encountered twice in three hours the "100% cpu usage" problem, which never showed while running 516324...

EDIT2: another lock... first two lines of top say:
9177 jyhelle 25 0 167m 64m 27m R 97.9 13.0 10:66.47 ktorrent
8534 root 15 0 178m 16m 3948 S 1.7 3.4 2:09:17 Xorg

after restarting, top now says:
9412 jyhelle 15 0 160m 69m 27m S 11.3 14.1 1:55.0 ktorrent

so differences (apart cpu usage) are the PRI and S column

I haven't changed so much code (a few function arguments to be precise) so I don't think this new problem is caused by this, unless something else was committed in the meantime...

after trying several combinations and manipulations, it seems this only occurs when DHT is enabled, so I checked this out as I remember George stating it is highly experimental... It's been running for some hours now with no further problem.

That is possible. I saw increased CPU usage with DHT myself.
