Little bug with tabs in KT 1.2

Mon May 01, 2006 8:01 pm
In KT 1.2, the mouse wheel can be used to switch between the Downloads/Search tabs (as is the usual QT behaviour), but not on the Status/Files/Peers/Chunks tabs.

(you might have already fixed this in SVN, in which case apologies)

Indeed, I don't understand why but the upper tabs get changed instead of the Status/Files/Peers/Chunks tabs. Even if I focus them by clicking on them the same still happens.

Tabs in InfoWidget are QTabWidget tabs. Main tab is KTabWidget. I guess QTabWidget doesn't support mouse wheel scrolling as well as tab icons.

We should change this and also add icons to these tabs. The next KT release is going to be a shiny one :)

About the GUI... most changes to it are done now with schedular and encryption right? Because i realized a few week back when i started translating, that it might be better to wait until most was done. :)

I think you should wait a bit more. There will be plenty of time for translating - 2 weeks after first beta release for the first release candidate after which you'll have another 2 weeks before final (in case there's no 2nd RC).

Thanks, i'll jump on as soon as beta is released then. :D

Worth mentioning btw...
you guys are making a wonderfull app here, which i think many new user are looking for, but couldn't find.
This is really nice, because with new (old utorrent) users complaining about other bloated or spartan clients, i can easily send and recommend them to ktorrent. :P

Yeah, thanks a lot. Not all people are that kind - they want to crucify us on bugs.kde.org for not integrating KTorrent with KDE desktop
