i just installed the latest SVN ktorrent and i freaked out when i saw that Header Encryption works

VERY good work !!

But, sadly, a very big tracker still bans kTorrent for it is caught by some CHEAT-DETECTION scripts on that tracker.

I figured maybe i could arrange a conversation with one of the developers and the guy that knows this "cheat-problem" with ktorrent and together they could find a solution for that.

or maybe the problem has already been fixed, don't know

i am no developer but cheating has mostly something to do with wrong announcing or ways to cheat the announce-procedure? *shrug*

since this client has been banned before DHT-inclusions i don't see dht as a problem though (just remembered bitcomet^^)

Once the next stable release is out, you may talk to private tracker admins and point them to this forum thread. But *don't do that until the next release is out*! We still need to fix some minor things.

but i guess i was so crazy about ktorrent working with my connection now with Header Encryption enabled.
