I just compiled new svn yesterday and I am consistently getting a crash when I start KTorrent, and then click on the Uploads tab. KTorrent starts with 2 downloads, and 3 uploads, and the second I click on the uploads tab, it crashes with this output:

Could be the same crash as the one in stoeptegel's thread.

Have you got a backtrace ?

I had some problems like this. It was related to an update of KDE in ubuntu dapper beta. I'm assuming it may be relevent to you because of your username.
A "make distclean", ./configure, recompile and reinstall fixed them for me.
