Bandwidth scheduler suggestion

Mon May 22, 2006 6:50 am
Would it be possible to implement a feature in the bandwidth scheduler that would allow a certain bandwidth speeds to be allowed at certain times when only seeding?

For example, I'd like to set my upload bandwidth to unlimited from 12am-8am but only if I'm not downloading any torrents.

Thanks!

I always lower my upload bandwidth when I'm downloading from 40k/s to 36k/s because otherwise I can't download at my cap because of the small amount of upload bandwidth downloading takes. I think Toran is just requesting a way to automate this in reverse. (Increasing the cap when not downloading as you don't have to worry about slowing your downloads).

We would have to look how to integrate this with the rest of the scheduler. We will see when Ivan is back.
