That's pretty weird. It's not updated at all??

Check if tracker is getting right values by enabling LogViewer plugin and search for tracker requests. You might as well paste them here (and maybe include a screenshot).

There's not too much to show... It's just shows in in status bar "Uploaded: 0B / Downloaded: 0B" all the time.

Update:
eariel I was only testing it only on seeded torrents. Now I started downloading a torrent, and found, that only upload doesn't work:

Weird. You might want to send the torrent in question to us. See FAQ for email address.

I just tried it here, stats are updated without a problem when I let KT upload a torrent.

This is happening to me, too (I don't know which SVN version, I'm just compiling the latest, too).
This only happens on uploaded, though. not downloaded.

As far as I can tell, it's not sending the correct info to the tracker. I'm taking this from the tracker requests in the log (see below) and that I'm not gaining points on tvtorrents.com

From the log file:
Initiating connection to 82.123.166.223
Doing tracker request to url : http://torrent.ubuntu.com:6969/announce ... 1%90!0%aft
Doing tracker request to url : http://torrent.ubuntu.com:6969/announce ... %5d%e7%11Y
Doing tracker request to url : http://torrent.ubuntu.com:6969/announce ... a%1b%ec%bf
Timeout occurred

Those downloaded amounts seem to be correct (judging from the KTorrent GUI and about how long it's been going with avg. speed), but I've been uploading MUCH more.

The new revision is 548616. I'm about to check if it has the same problems. Will post again with updated info

__UPDATE__

Still doesn't work. Also, KTorrent crashes on close. I'm going to try from scratch (clear out settings)

__UPDATE__

It didn't work. I cleared all references to KTorrent from my machine (minus my Subversion directory), and it still had the same problem. As I said, revision 548616 (Last changed rev 548299)

THOUGHT:

What versions of KDE are you guys running? this started happening shortly after I upgraded to 3.5.3. Maybe it's a KDE bug.

I'm also not having the problem, and am using the same versions of things as you.

Okay, I've now also removed my SVN directory and completely re-downloaded the program as per the instructions in the FAQ. Still no joy.

Are you guys all using the 32bit version (I am)?

The same settings still work under the beta, so there's no problem there.

It's not a problem with any of the plugins, as I've tried it with all the plugins disabled from the start, as well as all of the combinations of the plugins of which I can think.

What changes to the upload ares of the code have been submitted within, say, the last week? The latest I can find that makes any mention is commit 547058.

I've used a 546* revision without this problem, so it may be in there.

I encountered this same problem when I upgraded my laptop from KDE 3.4.3 to 3.5.2 and installed the latest SVN yesterday.

Laptop is a Powerbook, so 32bit ppc, running Gentoo.

Here you go

My reasons for choosing the dvd torrent there were that I'm seeding and that it has the most leechers compared to seeders (should give a better example here)

http://torrent.ubuntu.com/releases/dapp ... so.torrent

separately, is there a way for me to download older commits from SVN?
