It would be nice if the Check Data Integrity ran in its own thread thus not blocking KTorrent UI.

And, the context menu (right-click menu) says Check Data Integrity, the dialog showed when running the check says Scanning data. Wouldn't it be more consistent if the dialog's name was "Checking Data Integrity"?

By the way, if it is to be ran in its own thread I think it should be run in a lower prio than normal so that it doesn't affect download/upload or other user initiated operation (for example a copy in a shell).

It doesn't block the UI, it makes sure that events get handled from time to time (maybe we should decrease this interval)

But it is modal to the main window?

I can't switch tabs from say Upload to Download when a check is running.
