Hi!

When there are several trackers in the list of trackers, clicking one of them puts the tracker's address in the edit box. When there is only one tracker the tracker's address is not put in the edit box. Why? (It is nice when you want to copy and paste the tracker address.)

By mistake I clicked on "Add tracker" when the edit box was empty (I was aiming at "Update tracker") and it says "Malformed URL". Wouldn't it be better if it said nothing at all or that the "Add tracker" button was disabled if there's nothing in the edit box?

Lastly, the button names are slightly inconsistent:

"Update tracker"
"Add tracker"
"Remove tracker"
"Change Tracker"
"Restore defaults"

If American style if preferred I guess all names should use capitals. It looks like that style is used in the menu commands. Or maybe "Update", "Add", "Remove", "Change" would be enough since the context tells you it's about trackers.

Just my thoughts.

It's a QT problem that annoys me too. Whenever current item in that list is changed, tracker URL should appear in editBox. I made it that way since it's indeed usefull for copy/paste tracker URL. But, when there's only one item in the list QT somehow messes this up and does not trigger the signal. I suppose this is because there's no item to be changed/selected.

You're right. I'll change that.

I'll also change capital letter in 'Change Tracker'.[/quote]

I can't find a "tracker-tab" on my ktorrent 1.2 (gnome). I was wondering how to change trackers anyway.

There's no trackers tab in v1.2. This feature was first introduced with 2.0beta1 so I suggest you grab the latest version 2.0rc1 from downloads section of this website.

Any chance for an "edit" option for a single tracker url? Just installed v.2.0.3 (though I'm sure i requested that 2.1beta) and can't find anything like that.
Another thing, is there "pause" option? (If there is, it's extremely hard to find. Pausing a torrent is vital in case of releasing a file (the tracker still displays 1 seed then), while stopping makes the file unseeded, no need to explain that it's not welcome.
Also, is it only possible to start seeding through import?

When using multiple trackers in ktorrent, does it attempt to connect to all the trackers and get all the peers like in utorrent (I think utorrent does this anyhow)? Or does it connect to one tracker and stay on that until it cant find any seeders or the racker doesnt respond or something and then change?

It chooses one and sticks with that, as long as the tracker keeps working.
