The Server from EFF is overrun.
There are torrents out there,
e.g. here is a magnet link:

Azureus can handle this magnet link,
it search the right Tracker and ask for the Place
to save the torrent, and load this Movie.

It ist possible to made, that Ktorrent can do it
like Azureus and work with magnet links?

I think, magnet link is a fine Feature, if it is possible.

i don't think, magnet link ist "better",
but sometimes there is not possible
to download the *.torrent File.
(Website Server overrun like yesterday or "404")

In this case, i think, magnet link could be useful.

And yesterday i shared kubuntu-6.06-dvd-i386.iso,
see some KTorrent

Then i ask myself, is the swarm you get in bittorrent client only? How does it work in practice?

It's not quite clear how this magnet thing works, I mean how do we get the torrent file given a magnet link ? (I haven't really looked into it yet)

I'm not quite sure, but my guess is that we get the torrent file from other peer(s) who respond positively on requested hash. Just a guess though.
