Ok, little story, ktorrent has been using up 20-50% cpu non stop for the past while, I killed it because it was taking too long to exit, and on restart, it puts one of the torrents I was downloading in the seed queue, with all items unchecked, and thinks all of them are empty, I even did a data check, and it says they are blank, yet most files will play just fine. I've picked the following images out from the same torrent:

Oddly enough, even after selecting the files I want to download, it still keeps the torrent in the seeding queue. due to the -% maybe?

Most of this torrent was done, only about 5 files worth of data of the 26 was left to download.

Ok, it seems it unselects all the items because it thinks the files are missing? I get a "these files are missing" on startup, of the ones that I originally wanted to download. Yet they DO exist.

This only happens with 1 torrent ?

The torrent in question if you do a ls -l of it's cache dir (inside the torX dir), where do the symlinks point to ?

Btw, I'm working on the CPU usage (and cutting some memory usage in the process)

seems all the links got retargeted at the dnd dir. some of the files in the dnd dir are quite large actually :o mainly the ones I originally set to "dnd", all are around 2MB, the rest are 32 bytes.

The dnd files with 32 bytes are empty (header of those files is 32 bytes), the 2 MB ones contain the first and last chunk of that file.

For some reason KT couldn't find those files anymore and then decided to do not download them (OK, the user has to decide this with the popup dialog)

We need to figure out why KT suddenly didn't find them anymore. I assume no files were moved ? And the partition they were on was not unmounted ?

Nothing was moved, and the partition was not unmounted as far as I know, but ktorrent had crashed and been killed several times.
