Some of the trackers I frequent have a filesize cap on .torrents. This sometimes requires me to split a torrent into 2 smaller torrents even when I use the maxium piecesize currently supported by Ktorrent's torrentmaker. Would it be possible to increase the maxium piecesize for Ktorrent made .torrents to something larger then 1024KB?

What does the piece size have to do with a filesize cap of a tracker ?

The filesize limit is on the .torrent, not the contents of the torrent. Increasing piecesize reduces the size of the .torrent. Sorry if I wasn't clear in my original post.

Hmm,.. is 8MB official?
I think i've never seen 8MB chunked torrents.(but that can be just me)

I wouldn't recommend using them, but we can make it as big as we want.
